No account, no personal data
Pulse does not ask you to create an account and collects no name, email address, advertising identifier or location. The only exception is the NoMYST module license check, described in the general privacy policy.
What the app reads on the device
To describe the measured link, Pulse reads locally the connection type (mobile, Wi-Fi, wired) and, where applicable, the carrier or Wi-Fi network name. This information stays on the device and appears in the reports you choose to export.
Test traffic
To measure latency, jitter, loss and throughput, Pulse sends and receives technical packets to the NoMYST echo server (echo.nomyst.com), operated by MPI on infrastructure hosted in France, or to a measurement server you designate in the settings. These packets contain no personal content. The echo server keeps no IP address beyond technical security logs, deleted by automatic rotation.
VoLTE test
With a NoMYST module fitted with a SIM card, Pulse places a test call to a NoMYST automated responder, reachable through landline numbers operated by MPI. The call carries only a synthetic test signal, never your voice. The responder uses the calling number only to accept mobile numbers; it keeps only its last 2 digits, in the analysis result. It records the received signal just long enough to analyze it, then deletes it; the result is deleted within 7 days at the latest. The phone analyzes the signal sent back by the responder and keeps only the results. The SIM card's carrier and the provider of the responder's line keep their own call records, in line with their legal obligations.
Reports and exports
Measurements and reports are processed and stored on the device. Sharing them (e-mail, messaging, file) is triggered by you, and you alone. No report is sent to MPI without an explicit action on your part.
Permissions requested
Network access and state: for the measurement and to identify the link type. Phone state: to name the measured network. Precise location: required by Android to read cell information; no coordinates are stored or transmitted. Microphone: only for the VoLTE test, to capture the test signal sent back by the responder through the module. Notifications and foreground service: to keep the VoLTE test running if you leave the screen. No contacts or camera permission is requested.
Future online expertise
The voluntary transfer of a report to a NoMYST expertise service will be the subject of dedicated information before it is activated: purpose, data sent, retention period, security, any processors and your rights. This function is not active in the current version.
